Ever since her work experience in a nursery when she was 15, Holly knew she wanted to work in Early Years. She finds working with young children incredibly rewarding, because she can see them progress rapidly as a result of their experiences at nursery. Every day is different and you never know what quite to expect! She is particularly passionate about messy play and endeavours to find new combinations of messy resources that the children can get stuck into.
In her free time, Holly loves to travel (when restrictions permit!) and loved solo travelling in Thailand at the beginning of the year. She also likes setting herself personal challenges, for example, traveling to Tanzania and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for a water charity in 2017. On a more day-to-day level, Holly likes reading and spending quality time with her family and 5 cats.
Holly graduated from Canterbury Christchurch University in September 2019 with a degree in Early Childhood.
